We make no effort to identify users browsing our site.

No identifying data is disclosed to any third party for any purpose. Data we collect is used only for server administration. As is typical with all websites, we do log http requests to our server: we know the originating IP address (the 11.22.33.44 number you're assigned) of a user or system requesting a CosyPlanet.co.uk webpage. We also know the referrer and user-agent information that accompanies a request. We occasionally analyze the log files to determine which files are most requested and the previous site or user agent which prompted the request.

Logged information is kept indefinitely as administrative and research material; it is not disclosed outside of CosyPlanet.co.uk. Aggregate, non-identifying statistics generated from these logs may be analyzed as part of marketing or technical research.

Of course, when you make any purchases or send us e-mail, we do see you name and addresses plus any other information you sent to us and we protect that information from others.

We will safeguard any information shared with us. We will limit the collection and use of personal information to the minimum we require to deliver superior service to our customers. We will permit only authorized employees (which within our privacy policy also means any contingent workers or third party contractors) to have access to any personal information. Employees who violate our Privacy Policy will be subject to disciplinary action. 

As part of shipping/billing process, we collect purchasers' names, street addresses, e-mail addresses, telephone numbers, sales orders and amounts so that we can make and ship each order. 

We never see or receive your credit card information:

this is handled by our third party credit card processor, PayPal, at checkout. You have no obligation to join Pay Pal to pay for your order. Pay Pal has their own extensive privacy statement explaining their safeguards. Any purchaser can find out what kind of information is stored about themselves by sending e-mail to webmaster@CosyPlanet.co.uk. 

We will not reveal customer information to any external organization unless we have previously informed the customer, been authorized by the customer, or are required by law. 

If we learn that a child under the age of 13 has provided personally identifiable information to us, we will promptly remove it from our files or systems.
